Eric Colson – President
After obtaining his Bachelor of Kinesiology at McMaster University, Eric worked in a rehabilitation and sports injury clinic gaining experience working with the Insurance industry. He then joined the Industry with Allstate Insurance in Calgary, working for 5 years before returning to his home province and residing in Kingston. Eric has worked as an Independent Adjuster in Kingston for the past 6 years, while also holding various positions on the T.I.I.A.A executive.

Catherine Groot – Past President, Chapter Delegate
Catherine Groot started her insurance career at the Guardian in Calgary in 1991 as a management trainee, after graduating from Carleton University with a degree in Political Science and History. She has been working with York & Associates since 2001, and became a partner in 2006. She is the past president of the Thousand Island Insurance Adjusters and is currently the chapter delegate to Toronto. Catherine resides in Kingston with her husband and 2 daughters.

Elizabeth Conboy – Secretary
Elizabeth Conboy has been in the insurance industry for 12 years. She is a claims adjuster with with SCM and was previously employed with CGI and Pilot Insurance Insurance/Aviva Canada specializing in accident benefits. Elizabeth as been on the TIIAA Executive for three years.

Bob Bain – Director
Bob was born on Montreal where he attended University. After graduating he moved to Calgary worked in construction and then lived in Winnipeg driving transport. He then moved to Toronto settling into his insurance career and has been an independent adjuster since 1978 working in Toronto, Thunder Bay, Cambridge and Belleville & Kingston. He is happily married has 2 children and 2 grandchild and now calls home Kingston. He is a former Past President of our chapter and presently is a Director.

Steve Martin – Director
Steve began his insurance career in 1980. Steve became involved in the OIAA in 1988 and in 2005/2006 was Provincial President. He is currently working for Eddy/O’Hearn Insurance Adjusters in Belleville, Ontario.

Esther Young – Associate Member Representative
Esther Young has a Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons) from Wilfrid Laurier Universtiy as well as a Certified Management Accounting designation. Esther is a Senior Manager with Matson Driscoll & Damico Ltd. and has over 8 years of experience in the field of forensic and investigative accounting. Esther moved to Kingston in 2004 to open and manage the office for MD&D. Esther has been involved with the TIIAA for several years and enjoys working with her colleagues on the executive.
