The Thousand Island Insurance Adjusters Association Executive Committee:

Elizabeth Conboy Elizabeth Conboy – President
Elizabeth Conboy has been in the Insurance Industry for 14 years. She is a claims adjuster with Claimspro SCM specializing in all lines. She was previously employed with CGI and Pilot Insurance/Aviva Canada. Elizabeth has been on the T.I.I.A.A Executive for six years holding various positions.
Eric Colson Eric Colson – Past President
After obtaining his Bachelor of Kinesiology at McMaster University, Eric worked in a rehabilitation and sports injury clinic gaining experience working with the insurance industry. Eric then joined the Industry with Allstate Insurance in Calgary, working for five years before returning to Ontario and living in Kingston. Eric has worked as an Independent Adjuster in Kingston for the past nine years in addition to holding various positions on the TIIAA Executive.
Paul Morgan Paul Morgan – Vice President
Paul joined the industry with Pilot Insurance in 2002 and then went onto positions with AVIVA National Claims as a Large Loss Adjuster and a member of the National CAT team. Paul then joined the estimating side of the industry with a contractor local to Kingston, earning his certification as a Water Restoration Technician (WRT) and as an Applied Structural Drying Technician (ASDT). In January 2010 he transferred back to adjusting, this time as an independent specializing in Property, both personal and commercial while maintaining a background in Casualty and Liability. He is currently with ClaimsPro, has earned his CFEI designation and has sat on the TIIAA Executive for five years.
Simone Cybulski Simone Cybulski – Treasure & Chapter Delegate
Simone Cybulski has been in the Insurance Industry for 17 years. She is an Accident Benefits claims adjuster with ClaimsPro SCM and was previously employed with Unifund, Co-Operators and State Farm Insurance. Simone has been on the TIIAA Executive for two years, previously holding the position of Secretary and now as the Treasurer and Chapter Delegate to Toronto. Simone lives in Kingston with her husband and four children.
Brad Wilson Brad Wilson – Secretary
Brad began his career as an Independent Adjuster in 1997 after obtaining his Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from Wilfrid Laurier University. He has also earned the CIP designation. He worked in Toronto until mid 2006 when he relocated to Kingston with his family. Brad has a wide range of claims experience and presently manages the Kingston Branch of Cunningham Lindsey.
Kerri Amey Kerri Amey, CIP – Director
Kerri Amey has been in the insurance industry since 2000, starting as a Claims Assistant with State Farm Insurance. She has been a claims adjuster since 2002, both as a company adjuster, and currently as an Independent Adjuster with ClaimsPro SCM, specializing in Accident Benefits.
Brad Lasalle Brad Lasalle – Director
Brad Lasalle started in the industry in 1982 as an auto appraiser for an independent appraisal firm. In 1984 he went to work for Canadian Surety Insurance Company as their auto appraiser and completed his AIIC (CIP) in addition to learning Property and Casualty Claims. In 1992 he moved Adjusting with Allianz Insurance then made the move to the Independent world with UAB. Brad returned to adjusting with Federation Insurance, moved to Kingston five years ago and is currently the resident adjuster for Intact Insurance.
Susanne Lyons Susanne Lyons – Director
Susanne Lyons is Claims Manager at Bay of Quinte Mutual Insurance Co. located in Picton, Prince Edward County. Susanne is responsible for all claims including farm property, residential, commercial and liability. Susanne is an honors graduate of Seneca College of Applied Arts in Television and Radio Broadcasting, and started work with Bay of Quinte in January of 1991. Starting in underwriting, she became claims examiner in January of 1997 and claims manager in July of 1998. Susanne received her Certified Insurance Professional designation in October of 2001 and completed the Master Managers program from Sir Wilfred Laurier University. She is a member of the Fire Investigation/Arson Task Force and the OIAA (Ontario Insurance Adjusters Association) and is currently working on her FCIP designation.
Lynn Forestell Lynn Forestell – Associate Member Representative
Lynn has a lifetime of experience in the Insurance industry growing up in her family business, Malcolm Brother's emergency insurance restoration. Lynn then worked 20 years as an Insurance Broker obtaining her CAIB designation. Working part-time and raising three children she is now back at Malcolm Brothers handling marketing, advertising and customer relations. Lynn is involved with the Belleville General Hospital foundation and many fundraising committees. Her community involvement is very important to her!
Rick See Rick See – Associate Member Representative
Rick started working in the insurance industry in 1984 after graduating from Queens University with a BA in Economics. For the next 15 years he was a partner in a local cleaning and Fire & Flood restoration company working mainly in Insurance relations. In 1998 he joined Vogelzang and Associates as a new General Insurance Broker. Today Rick is a Commercial Insurance Broker Specialist carrying the CAIB designation with Thomson And Jemmett Commercial Insurance Brokers that is part of Upper Canada Commercial Insurance Group. Rick was born and raised in the Kingston area and raises his two children with Edie, his wife of
25 years.
